Litter Information: vom Covey Run Deutsch Kurzhaars does not
have any immediate plans for breeding at this time. We generally
only breed once per year or less, and take deposits far in advance
of the actual breeding and whelping. If you are interested in being
notified of upcoming or available litters please

choose the perfect companion for you from one of our litters, or to
refer you to another Deutsch Kurzhaar breeder.

Whelp Date: September 3, 2006 Availability: SOLD OUT! Litter Overview: Our "D" litter vom Covey Run arrived September 3, 2006 . . . We repeated the breeding with Chance KS vom Riverwoods, which resulted in our 2005 "C" litter. Click here for more information on the DK "D" litter vom Covey Run Covey Run Kennels does not breed AKC-registered German Shorthaired Pointers (GSP's). We only produce German (DKV) registered Deutsch Kurzhaars (DK's). We generally have at least one DK litter per year, and usually we have the entire litter pre-sold before it is even born. Our DK pups are $800 each, and are sold only on a contract basis to people who agree to test them in the German testing system, as we have tested their parents. Half of the purchase price is required as an advance deposit. Testing is done through the NADKC and/or JGV-USA, and the minimum requirements are two (2) breed certification tests for hunting abilities, a conformation rating, a screening for hip dysplasia, and a game sharpness test (required for males / recommended for females).
