- rec.hunting.dogs - This is a newsgroup dedicated to hunting dogs. Note that it covers all types of activities (including showing) for the sporting breeds.
- DD Mail List (started by Drahthaar people, but many other versatile dog owners use it, too. Great source for training tips) just mail a message to
dd-list-request@drahthaar.com with the following line in the body of the message:
"subscribe".That's all that needs to be in the message, and the subject line doesn't matter, it can be anything. In mailing list lingo, joining the list is called 'subscribing' to the list. When you subscribe, you'll receive a welcome message with instructions on posting to the list.

Hi! As you can see Izzy
made it to us safely and she has
been enjoying her new home. Everyone
has enjoyed her tremendously. She is
so pretty. I was working with her in
the yard to sit and stay when I took
the picture. She is doing good with
this. Hope that your holiday was
nice and the new year is a good one.
